Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of PingWatch, including monitoring, alerting, incident management, analytics, certificate checks, report submission, and administrative workflow features. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Scope

PingWatch provides software for monitoring websites, APIs, and SSL/TLS certificates; evaluating configured assertions; generating incidents and history; sending notifications; and managing user-submitted bug or incident reports through dashboard and admin workflows.

2. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information and notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

3. Acceptable Use

  • You may only monitor systems, endpoints, and certificates that you own or are authorized to test.
  • You may not use the service to overload, probe, or disrupt third-party infrastructure.
  • You may not submit unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing content through reports or notifications.
  • You may not attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits, or administrative restrictions in the service.

4. Monitoring and Notification Limitations

PingWatch is designed to help detect operational issues, but we do not guarantee that all failures, degradations, certificate issues, assertion mismatches, or delivery events will always be detected or notified in every case.

Monitoring results can be affected by upstream providers, target-side blocking, network routing, DNS behavior, infrastructure outages, or malformed target configurations.

5. Customer Reports and Admin Feedback

If you use report submission features, you are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you provide. PingWatch may process those reports and administrative responses as part of the service workflow, including by email where configured.

6. Fees, Plans, and Changes

Some features may be limited by plan, usage volume, or future pricing terms. We may change pricing, features, limits, or plan structure over time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or other reasonable channels.

7. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create security or legal risk, or interfere with the stability of the platform.

8. Disclaimer and Liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PingWatch disclaims warranties of uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PingWatch will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of the service.
